Are your textALERT campaigns successful?
There are several factors to consider when it comes to analyzing your text marketing campaigns. After running a few campaigns it is important to go back and see exactly which campaigns were more effective in bringing customers into your door, getting them to spend more & which was best in your bottom line.
The first and most important step to analyze in this process is your redemption percentage. When you create an offer for a textALERT, the ultimate judge in the success of the campaign is “How many people redeemed the offer”.

This page contains all your textALERT campaigns, past, saved, and scheduled. To sort the table by the Redemption Rate, click the “Redemption %” column header at the top of the last column in the table. The first click will sort the column by ascending order (low to high). You will need to click it again to get all the high redemption rates at the top of the table.
The better the redemption rate, the better the offer. The more redeems per text sent, the more successful the campaign is at getting customers into the door. Using this data often to judge your campaigns is an important part of consistently producing effective text marketing campaigns.
Did this offer get customers to spend more?
The next question to find the answer to is “did this offer get customers to spend more?” This is where you take your average ticket cost and make sure your offer is set up to ensure it makes the ticket hit your average or better.
What’s the best offer to create?
Next, you’ll want to make sure the offer is great, but not too good to hurt your bottom line. The best offers require a buy-in, such as “buy one entree, get one free” or a dollar amount such as, “$5 off $20”, etc. to make the customer purchase the amount you would like them too while giving them a good discount and incentive to do so.
As you create more and more campaigns, take some time to analyze what works best for your business while always applying the new knowledge to the next campaign.
